The Sound of Geelong – Composer in Residence Program brings together our region’s composers and musicians to create music inspired by the people, stories, and spirit of Geelong. Each year, two composers are selected to write and premiere original works with the Geelong Concert Band.
This program gives composers the rare opportunity to collaborate directly with a full concert band, develop their ideas in rehearsal, and share their music with a live audience.
